ABOUT THE CENTRAL MISSOURI NATIONAL HISTORY DAY CONTEST
Online entries are due by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2024.
The Live event for exhibits and perfromances will be on February 29 at 4pm at Columbia College. All winners will be announce at the event.
Our volunteer judges will begin the entry review process on Friday, February 16, 2024.
During the February 29 live event, we will announce the delegates to the state contest, which will be in April, and the special prize winners. The interlude between the submissions deadline and the announcement will allow our judges to review and evaluate the entries.
THE 2024 REGIONAL NHD CONTEST
Judges will begin evaluating virtual entries for paper, websites, and documentaries on February 16, 2024. The live contest will take place Thursday Feburary 29, 2024 at Columbia College from 4-7pm.
If students request interviews, we will attempt to schedule these remotely.
During the live contest on February 29, we will announce the delegates to the state contest, which will be April 27, 2024.
